John grew up on an 18,000-acre family farm in Southern Queensland, Australia, where he developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture. His experience encompasses both crop farming and livestock management, having raised cattle and sheep throughout his early years. Since 1999, John has honed his expertise in the imported meat business, initially working in Australia and New Zealand before transitioning to the United States.
Over the years, he has gained comprehensive knowledge across all facets of the industry, from establishing an import business to managing plants and overseeing import inspection and processing. Currently, John holds a pivotal role at JBS, where he is responsible for the procurement and sale of imported products from various countries where JBS operates. His extensive background and commitment to the agriculture sector continue to drive his professional endeavors.
