This Wagyu Green Chili is the perfect elevated comfort food, ideal for sharing with the whole family or just to enjoy on your own. Packed with flavor and warmth, it’s a delicious way to cozy up and enjoy a winter day. Let’s get started!

YIELD: SERVES 4 | PORTION SIZE: 1 1/2 CUPS | PREP TIME: 30 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS
1 Tablespoon of Oil
1 Pound of W. Black Australian Wagyu Ground Beef
1/2 of a Jalapeño, Seeded & Minced
1/2 Cup of Sweet Onion, Diced
1/2 Bunch of Green Onions, Sliced
1/2 Bunch of Cilantro
1/2 Teaspoon of Dry Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon of Ground Cumin Seed
1/4 Teaspoon of Ground Coriander Seed
1 Teaspoon of Salt, Plus More To Taste
4 Cups of Beef or Vegetable Broth
2 Cups of Tomatillo Salsa
2 Cans (4.5oz each) of Mild Green Chilies
1 Can (14.5oz) of Hominy, Drained
Kosher Salt, As Desired
Black Pepper, As Desired
GARNISH
Sour Cream, As Desired
Tortilla Strips, As Desired
Cilantro, As Desired
Lime Wedge, As Desired
DIRECTIONS
In a large pot over HIGH HEAT, add oil and ground Wagyu beef.
Cook beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
Set aside the cooked beef in a separate bowl, leaving the cooking juices and oil in the pot.
Next, reduce the heat to MEDIUM and add the remaining ingredients to the pot, except for the salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, remove from heat and stir in the reserved beef. Season with salt and pepper, as desired.
TO SERVE
Place in a bowl and top with sour cream, tortilla strips, and cilantro.
