YIELD:  4 BURGERS   |    PORTION SIZE:  1 BURGER  |    PREP TIME: 20 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Pound of Ground Australian Lamb

  • 1 Tablespoon of Greek Seasoning, Sodium-Free

  • ½ Cup of Parsley, Chopped

  • 1 Tablespoon of Kosher Salt

  • 2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil

  • ½ Cup of Feta Cheese, Crumbled

  • ½ Cup of Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 Cucumber, Sliced

  • 1 Medium Tomato, Sliced

  • ½ Medium Red Onion, Sliced

  • 1 Head of Lettuce

  • 4 Hamburger Buns, Toasted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the lamb, Greek seasoning, & parsley. Mix well & then shape into 4 even-sized patties. Sprinkle with Kosher salt.

  2. In a cast iron pan, preheated over MEDIUM-HIGH heat, sear the patties in vegetable oil for 3 minutes on each side.

  3. Flip the patties over & then turn the heat to HIGH & cook for 2-3 more minutes.

  4. Remove from heat & allow the burgers to rest on a plate. You can use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach your desired temperature.

  5. Assemble the burgers with feta, tzatziki, cucumber, tomato, red onion, & lettuce on the toasted buns. Serve immediately with your favorite side.

NOTE

If you can't find Greek seasoning without added salt, don't fret! Go ahead & omit the kosher salt in the recipe & use the Greek seasoning as normal. You can always add a sprinkle of salt to your burger later.
